What Makes Dr. Jonathan T. Williams Different?

Experience
Dr. Williams is a licensed physician and dentist. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). He has practiced full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery since 2014. His special interests include third molar extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting, office-based anesthesia, and surgical treatment of maxillofacial pathology.
Training
Dr. Williams earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) with honors from Case Western Reserve University in 2009. He completed a five-year residency training program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic, serving as the chief resident in his final year. He earned a medical degree (MD) and underwent a year of general surgery, rotating through neurosurgery, ENT, plastic surgery, trauma surgery, and pediatric surgery. After residency, he pursued the highest possible training with a year-long head and neck oncologic surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center under Dr. Eric Carlson.
Pedigree
Dr. Williams grew up in New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2000. While at Case Western, he was elected to the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society (OKU) for high academic and clinical achievement. He received the Outstanding Student award in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He authored three textbook chapters on oral cancer and reconstruction surgical treatment. He resides in Columbus with family, showcasing his commitment to community and balanced life.
